David has a science degree, majoring in soils, environment and horticulture. He has worked for 15 years in agriculture and horticulture research and extension. He is also a farmer, progressively regenerating a run-down farm at the top of the Adelong Creek Valley.
David is passionate about natural resource management, the need for improved environmental outcomes, and the links with favourable agronomic and social outcomes for land managers.
David is the Local Landcare Coordinator for the Bidgee South region, covering the Council areas of Lockhart Shire, Wagga Wagga City and Snowy Valleys. He is based in the Wagga Wagga office of Riverina Local Land Services, and works Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
