Ed Maher lives in Wagga Wagga with his young family, and is employed at Charles Sturt University to lead the Organisation’s sustainability programs. Ed has been involved with Wagga Wagga Urban Landcare (WWUL) for 10 years and is currently the Chair of WWUL.

Ed possesses qualifications in Environmental Science, Carbon Management and Leadership and has worked for over a decade in resource efficiency and sustainability management roles. This background allows him to bring expertise in planning, stakeholder management, competitive grant writing and engagement to the MLi Board.

Ed is a strong believer in the value that MLi brings to its member groups by operating at a catchment-level to bring skills, resources and advocacy that remains appropriately-focussed and agile enough to respond quickly to a changing environment.
