Jenny came to Murrumbidgee Landcare from being the Hay Plains Landcare Project Officer.
Jenny grew up on farms around Hay and although beginning her career in the health industry she has always had ties to the land, a strong community focus and an understanding of the importance of natural resource management.
Having been a Hay Shire Councillor for over ten years, Jenny’s passion and dedication to working with local communities continues as she supports Landcare members to manage their environments sustainably, assists them in nurturing their interests, and facilitates knowledge and skill development so everyone can leave a positive influence on the world.
Jenny is the Local Landcare Coordinator for the Bidgee Plains region, covering the Local Government areas of Hay and Carrathool. She is based in Hay, and works part-time, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
