Tina de Jong has worked for a long time with the Landcare and catchment management community, mainly on biodiversity projects and surveys, along with general community support. She has also enjoyed working in the Museum of the Riverina, Environmental Education at ErinEarth, and as a horticulturalist.

She is most interested in ways we can improve the landscape through small changes, which lead to big outcomes. Working with Landcarer’s to identify plants and habitat features and to come up with cost effective management tools. Exploring methods such as cool burning and timely weed control, to allow native ground cover to flourish and spread, to create more healthy environments.

When she is not at work Tina is studying a Masters in Natural Resources to further look into improving resilience across our local landscapes. She looks after her 5 acres and spends time with her family. Tina has worked in the family business for many years, along with not for profit business administration, environmental Committee representative roles and marketing and events.

Tina is based in the Wagga Wagga office and works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
