Recently, we’ve seen great attendance at Farm Business Success Series workshops in Hay, Griffith and Narrandera, highlighting strong interest from producers and agribusinesses in building business skills alongside on‑farm practices.

In Hay, the Office Efficiency and Xero workshop attracted a strong local turnout, with participants gaining practical, hands‑on skills to improve record‑keeping, understand cash flow and streamline day‑to‑day business administration. The workshop provided an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and build confidence in using digital tools to support better decision‑making.

Strong participation across all locations reinforces the importance of accessible, practical business education in supporting long‑term farm sustainability. Business skills play a critical role in helping producers adapt, plan ahead and respond to changing seasonal, market and climate conditions.

These workshops form part of the Farm Business Success Series, and we look forward to delivering more sessions across the region. Keep an eye out for upcoming workshops coming to your area, covering a range of business, planning and productivity topics to support farm businesses at every stage.

If you have ideas for future workshop topics or would like to see events delivered locally, please get in touch, we welcome your feedback.

This event is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program and delivered by Riverina Local Land Services, a member of the Commonwealth Regional Delivery Partners panel.

This article was written by Jade Auldist.
