Their relaxed and friendly manner made it easy for students to engage with the activities and learning. Through storytelling, discussion and hands-on activities, they created a safe and welcoming environment where students felt comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and getting involved. Their ability to make environmental and cultural learning both fun and relatable was greatly appreciated by students and teachers alike.<\/p>\n
Feedback from both schools was overwhelmingly positive, with students thoroughly enjoying the experience. By combining cultural knowledge, environmental awareness and practical learning, the program inspired students to become future custodians of our inland waterways and the unique ecosystems they support.<\/p>\n
These events are being supported by Riverina Local Land Services’ Sustainable Agriculture Facilitator Program.
