What were the aims of the research?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\nThe study\naimed to find out how and where frog populations were surviving the drought.\nThe study addressed a few key questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- Were\nfrogs persisting in our creek environments during drought?<\/li>
- Were\nthere native frogs persisting in farm dams and irrigation infrastructure?<\/li>
- Could\nwe find any threatened southern Bell frogs? If so where were they surviving\nduring drought?<\/li>
- What\nfactors could we identify that might make a wetland or creek a good refuge\nhabitat for frogs?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
The survey\nlooked at several sites along the Yanco, Billabong and Columbo Creeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
