{"id":8178,"date":"2024-10-01T08:56:09","date_gmt":"2024-09-30T22:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mli.org.au\/?p=8178"},"modified":"2024-10-01T08:56:09","modified_gmt":"2024-09-30T22:56:09","slug":"caring-for-country-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mli.org.au\/home\/caring-for-country-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"Caring for Country workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Do you know the cultural heritage on your property?<\/p>\n<p>Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc, Muttama Creek Landcare and the Biodiversity Conservation Trust came together with local First Nations people and farmers in Coolac for an insightful Caring for Country afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was led by local Wiradjuri man Peter Beath, alongside Aunty Sonni, farmer John Harpley, Nioka Dupond from Murrumbidgee Landcare and Mason Crane from the Biodiversity Conservation Trust.<\/p>\n<p>The group explored traditional land management and the significance of cultural sites.
