We are inviting Expressions of Interest from Grong Grong landholders interested in establishing small micro forests on their properties.
Micro forests are compact, densely planted native vegetation patches designed to boost biodiversity, provide habitat for wildlife, and contribute to a healthier local landscape. These plantings can fit into unused corners of your property and make a meaningful environmental impact.
Ideally, micro forest sites will be located in corners that connect with a neighbouring property’s corner, helping to create linked habitat corridors across the landscape. However, we welcome interest from any suitable corner or space on your property.
Participating landholders will receive support from a local Landcare coordinator, including guidance on site selection, species choice, planting design, plants and planting.
