Hay Public School, 2018
The students and teachers at Hay Public School used this grant to create a space where members of the school and the wider community can experience indigenous plants and culture. The name Dhangaang was chosen from the Wiradjuri language, and means food.

Murrumbidgee Landcare acknowledges the Wiradjuri people who are the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we work. We pay our respects to Elders of the Wiradjuri Nation, past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all First Nations Elders. We celebrate the diversity and strength of Aboriginal cultures and value their contribution to caring for our Land.
