Business of Carbon Forum

12 February 2026

Carbon or biodiversity projects are fast becoming the way to pay for on-farm environmental improvements, but it can be difficult to know how to participate, what carbon projects might be possible and if it’s right for a farm business.

Murrumbidgee Landcare, FarmLink Research and Holbrook Landcare Network are hosting a free ‘Business of Carbon Forum” to unpack some of those issues.

The forum is FREE to attend but space is limited, so reserve your spot now!

Hear from advisors working in the carbon space and farmers who are doing it.

  • Understanding carbon and the corporate model
  • How to assess the financial viability of a carbon or biodiversity project with a local farm case study
  • Farmer experiences of applying for and running carbon projects
  • Check out some of the tools to show carbon storage options and efficiency on your farm

Speakers:

Dr Susan Orgill Impact Ag, Simon Campbell Renovo Ag, Farmer Q&A panel.

If you’re working with farmers (accountants, banking professionals, agents and advisors) this is your chance to learn more about how farmers are integrating carbon projects into their businesses.

Delivered with funding support from the Commonwealth of Australia through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, under the Carbon Farming Outreach Program in collaboration with Grower Group Alliance.
