Wildflower Wonderland Walkabout

Step into Tumut State Forest for a relaxed wander and discover what makes this woodland’s understorey so special. Spring brings a mix of colourful blooms and some less flashy but equally intriguing plants around every bend.
We will chat about how these species fit together, explore practical ways to help them thrive, and even give citizen science a go as a group. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the bush, meet some friendly faces and head home with a newfound appreciation for the natural world right on our doorstep.
Remember to bring a water bottle and sturdy footwear as tracks are uneven in places.
Don’t forget binoculars there’s a good chance we’ll spot some birds too.
Be sun smart and mozzie safe!
