Batlow: What's croaking in the creek BioBlitz

Join us for the first-ever Batlow Bush BioBlitz, a weekend of wild discovery in Batlow’s beautiful bushland! 

Over two days, nature lovers, families and curious locals will team up with scientists and Landcare members to explore, identify and celebrate the amazing plants and animals that call our patch home.

From frogs croaking in Reedy Creek to birds soaring above Weemala Lookout, each activity will open your eyes to the biodiversity thriving right here in Batlow. Whether you’re keen to learn new skills, take part in citizen science, or simply enjoy a bush adventure, there’s something for everyone.

Upstream from the old Batlow pool lies a pocket of diverse native vegetation teeming with fascinating flora and fauna. Join Bindi and Leigh for an easy-paced exploration to uncover the hidden life thriving in this special patch of bush. 

This event is a partnership between Riverina Highlands Landcare and Do It For Batlow, with the support of Murrumbidgee Landcare and the Landcare Enabling Program.
