Nioka is a Wiradjuri woman based in Narrandera who has a background in education.

First Nations People have been caring for Country since time immemorial and Nioka believes that utilising this knowledge with a high degree of respect and understanding will start the healing of our Nation, people and Country as we come together and heal through connection.

Nioka is passionate about preserving and caring for all that belongs to our environment, and is eager to teach the younger generations about the importance of caring for Country to ensure that the future generations are able to thrive in a healthy environment.

Nioka is also eager to learn more about best practices for Country and making new connections within the Murrumbidgee and wider community.

Nioka is based in Narrandera and works full-time (8.30 am – 3.30 pm).
