Experience a morning of biodiversity discovery with Eastern Riverina Landcare Group at Tootool Wetlands, a 20-hectare reserve celebrated for its vibrant wildlife. This free, hands-on event welcomes families, nature lovers, and anyone eager to connect with Riverina’s natural treasures.

 

What’s On

Visit stations around the lagoon:

  • Discover how to use iNaturalist with friendly help from volunteers.

  • Meet bird experts and spot woodland and wetland species.

  • Listen for frog calls, meet real lizards, and chat with specialists about local frogs, lizards, and turtles.

 

Essentials

  • All ages welcome; wear weather-appropriate clothes and bring water and a hat.

  • Free entry; onsite parking.

  • Event capped at 25 participants.

  • Bring a chair.
  • BYO Lunch
  • Morning tea provided, advise organiser if you have dietary requirements.
