With the end of another year hurtling toward us many of us will be looking toward 2026, setting goals and making new year’s resolutions. A slower pace in January can provide some time and space to consider the year ahead, reset and identify some key priorities. Its also a good time to do some thinking about what your Landcare group is setting out to achieve in 2026.
With AGM’s complete and another year of opportunity ahead, does your Landcare group have a plan? What will the group focus on next year? What is it hoping to achieve in 2026 or beyond?
Developing a plan can provide the opportunity to set out or re-evaluate the group’s purpose and how it works toward fulfilling that purpose. It doesn’t have to be complicated and can provide an opportunity for everyone to have input.
If your purpose is clear, a simple action plan can then provide the group with a clear outline for the year ahead:
- What are you hoping to achieve?
- What do you need to do to get there?
- When will things need to be done?
- What resources will you need?
- Who will be responsible for what?
So get your group planning and here’s to a productive 2026!
