Kathy has been involved in Agricultural Education for over 40 years working on Environmental Projects producing educational material and providing event management including field days, Gala Days (schools) and workshops for stakeholders comprising, Landholders, Government Agencies and Schools. She studied Applied Science (Agriculture) and Education at Charles Sturt University as well as holding a Certificate IV in Carbon Management, Small Business Management and Training and Assessment.Kathy is a member of Murrumbidgee Field Naturalists and keen nature photographer.
The Story Catcher role involves recording people’s life history working on many projects over the Riverina including Talking Machines, Leeton Memories, The Memory Lounge, First Nations People and many private recordings.
Kathy Tenison is the Story Catcher for Murrumbidgee Landcare as well as a Landcare Coordinator for the Bidgee Woodlands and is based in the Wagga Wagga office.
