Bernadette is based in the Snowy Valleys and is currently a Project Officer for Bushfire Recovery. She is also involved with the local Landcare Nursery upgrade for the Riverina Highlands Landcare Network. The Nursery is close to her heart having been the Nursery Co-ordinator in the past.

Bernadette holds a Diploma in Environmental Science – Conservation and Land Management and also a Diploma in Business Administration.  Most of Bernadette’s working career has been in business administration, however, she has now taken up the opportunity to follow her passion to improve our environment.

She is passionate about native plants and educating people in the values and the importance of the role native vegetation plays in supporting soil, air and water together with native fauna and humans!

Bernadette has been working with planting groups of people, including the Ngumbaay Indigenous Corporation, Community Groups and Landholders revegetating sites in the bushfire affected areas of the Snowy Valleys.
