Are you interested in doing revegetation in 2023/2024?
We are seeking expressions of interest to establish approximately 16 revegetation sites over the next two years.
These sites will contribute to the demonstration of techniques that make revegetation more resilient to climate, and contribute to farm business resilience. For example, we will explore varying site preparation techniques, planting densities and species mixes. We will also look at the results of incorporating a ground layer and grasses in revegetation projects.
Funding is available to help – we encourage you to flag your site with us and we can come and discuss how it might fit.
What you need to know:
- Demonstration sites will be used for public case studies, and have baseline data collected for future research
- There is no minimum size, but bigger sites are likely to be prioritized for cost efficiency
- Funding can be put towards fencing materials, site preparation, plants and planting costs. Note that landholders will also be required to contribute to the costs
How to apply
If you would like to submit an Expression of Interest, please click on this link and fill out the form. The form should take less then 4 minutes to complete!
