Free nest boxes were made available to members of the Coolamon, Wagga Wagga Urban, Kyeamba, Tarcutta and Eastern Riverina Landcare groups.
Landcare members were able to receive up to 3 nest boxes to be placed in former Landcare plantings or areas of existing native vegetation.
The boxes can be used as a means of providing artificial hollows for native birds and mammals while natural hollows and habitat are established through Landcare type activities.
